MCL And Liver Related Question.
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Recently has a CT scan for my MCL. I have been on a trial program for 1 1/2 years which is working well so far. The CT scan said scattered hypodensities on the liver. Dr. says it's nothing, but it's been bothering me. Anyone else have this?

Anastasia,

I have a similar concern,l. I have MCL, my liver is fine, but I have a spot in my bum that showed up on a CT/PET SCAN and MRI. The radiologists who looked at the areas could not identify what it is, so I am getting a biopsy in that area. My suggestion (take it for what's worth) and tell the doctor you want a biopsy to identify it for peace of mind and to see if the treatment is working properly. If the doctor doesn't think it is necessary have him explain why it's not needed. Based on his answer you may need to get a second opinion. My doctor fought for me to get the tests I needed after the little spot was located. That's nothing to compare with what's going on in your liver. That's the kind of doctor you need, I hope you have that.
Speak up for yourself you're going through this, this is your life. The doctor is treating you and your cancer and they don't know everything, that's why they are "practicing" physicians 😀. You are in my thoughts and I wish you good health.

Thank you for your advice Rachael, I think I will get in touch with him. I hope your spot turned out negative and you are doing well and will continue to do so. Peace and blessings.
