Hello! Please teach about initial success for newly diagnosed b-cell follicular lymphoma. Clinical trial? Move close to a hospital?

Maine GIs, surgeons, hematologists and oncologists at 2 hospitals missed this for 2.5 years. Multiple symptoms, 3 small bowel blockages, 7 CT scans, pill cam, biopsy in the wrong place. Fast forward to biopsies 1/6/25 at Mass General in Boston and what I was afraid of is now reality for my partner. PET scan Friday 1/24/25. Yes, it is same. While I have stage 4 because of lymph nodes swollen in neck, armpits, chest, stomach and groin areas and also in my bone marrow, the cells are so far acting more like Stage 2, so start next week and Dr. thinks there is good chance it could put me in full remission. Just glad now to have hope

I obviously agree with My Lymphoma team specialists.. Mayo Clinic is outstanding.. 2nd opinion so important. I am in WA State, had difficulties with local cancer clinic/medical systems.. have stage 4 B-cell follicular lymphoma.. My local medical people/cancer clinic recommended "wait and see".. but at least also offered me referral for 2nd opinion to UW/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Clinic in Seattle, WA.. and they have given me great hope and did recommend treatment to start soon.. Will have my first appointment for immunotherapy Feb. 6th.. There is hope out there. Pray you will get a 2nd opinion
