My blood count went sky high that's how I found out. Good luck to you.
I had a swollen lymph node in my neck. I still have no other symptoms.

Hi Eve, I thought that I pulled a muscle while helping my uncle push a heavy piece of equipment uphill. After favoring it for months, I went to my family physician who x-rayed the femur. She could see a ghost shadow which she thought was inflammation. Months of P.T. only helped sporadically, so I self referred to an ortho doctor. On several occasions, the pain had become debilitating in the night (like lying on the floor, moaning and sweating), so I began to feel that something was really wrong. DLBCL had presented as a large bone cancer lesion in/on the femur, as well as in kidneys and lymph nodes in abdomen, so it was stage IV. As a year had elapsed since symptoms had begun, I was put in the hospital for 4 nights right before Christmas '24 to rush treatment along. I am now in remission, hoping that's the end of the story.
I didn't have any symptoms at all. I went for my yearly checkup and was called back to re-take a urine test. I did that 3 times. Eventually I was send for a PET scan after going to a few doctors. They found lymphoma :( I was on a wait and watch for 6 years before I needed chemo. Today I'm cancer free for almost 6 years. My advice...live life to the fullest. Don't worry and take 1 day at a time. If you worry on a daily basis you'll drive yourself crazy. Good luck!
