Has anyone had Rituxan therapy, now in remission found out that you now have very low immunoglobulin & are on subQ immunoglobulin infusions

I was actually wondering if there is anyone here that is on SubQ treatment and if it’s improved their IG levels and/or if they’ve had any side effects. I also have stage 3b CKD. My onc has been presuring me to start SubQ 1/week but I’m worried about my kidneys. I was told by the pharmacist in charge of the SubQ that I have a greater risk of going into renal failure. So I told my Onc NO. He wasn’t very happy about that. But it’s my body. My decision.

Common symptoms of low immunoglobulin levels may include:
• Frequent infections
• Fever
• Chills
• Generally feeling unwell
• Headaches Immunoglobulin levels can be monitored through blood tests called serum protein electrophoresis. If levels are found to be too low, your doctor may recommend immunoglobulin replacement therapy, which can be given subcutaneously (SubQ) to help support your immune system.

This is a recognized management approach for patients who have completed rituximab therapy and are experiencing low immunoglobulin levels. The treatment helps reduce the risk of infections while maintaining your remission status.
