Has any experienced low IgG levels after treatment, and if So has your oncologist talked to you about IVIG treatment, where you receive gammaglobulin
Apparently my immune system isn't doing so great, I just it doesn't help that I also don't have a spleen
I have a bunch of neurological symptoms as well, and my oncologist always says I have MS, or CIDP, maybe Guillain-Barre, whatever that is, I have had an appointment scheduled with a specialty neurologist since September and my appointment is… read more
Thank you Mary, I am already on the cancelation list.
Can you reach out to the neurologist's office and ask them to call you if an appointment comes available prior to January 21st? That's a long time to wait to try to get answers.
I have just been gaslit by over 3 neurologists and a Rhumatologist but, I list she sent my oncologist notes (after spending 3 minutes with me) the Rhumatologist told me all my symptoms are in my head and that IVIG will do nothing to help me actually and I am experiencing a placebo effect, eventhough I cleary have a golden week in between my IVIG infusions. I stopped them after that Rhumatologist appointment, but she told my oncologist I have fibromyalgia and a possible connective tissue disorder. ( My oncologist is taking or trying to take over and find me a specialist for my numb eyes, a neurologist/eye specialist and someone who deals with connective tissue disorders like EDS, and POTS, because I have high heart rate spikes when I stand and I have hyper extension in my joints. My cardiologist just told me to try electrolyte drinks, but it just made my BP high all the time so I stopped ✋️ I don't understand why it should be so hard to get a tilt table test, I hate Doctors 🙃😅 Anyway...that's my rant, and Update...still have a headache and numb eyes, and various other issues, but my CT scan from last week was at least clear in the ER
I just want a proper diagnosis. They don't have to complete a miracle for Pete's Sake!
