Yes, it's quite common to experience temperature regulation issues after chemotherapy for lymphoma. Many people report increased sweating, hot flashes, and difficulty cooling down after physical activity or exposure to heat. Some MyLymphomaTeam members have shared experiencing profuse sweating during simple activities and taking longer than usual to cool down after being in warm environments. These temperature regulation issues can manifest in different ways:

• Sudden hot flashes or "warm bursts"
• Excessive sweating during mild activities
• Night sweats
• Difficulty cooling down after showers or time outdoors
• Localized sweating in specific body areas

If these symptoms are concerning you or severely impacting your quality of life, it's important to discuss them with your healthcare team, as they may be able to suggest management strategies or determine if there are any underlying causes that need attention.

I completed treatment for stage 4 DLBCL, next month I go for my yearly ECHO and CT with contrast. It was a huge life change. I never feel hot, I freeze. I read that when you have low WBC you don't run a fever, it's opposite. I sleep every night with an electric blanket till I warm up. It was such a life changing time. Not everyone understands, or seems to care. And yes every type of lymphoma is different. Side effects and all, but I find such relief just reading what everyone is going thru and the difference in everyone's side effect. Maybe one day everything will ease up some. God Bless everyone that is fighting this fight with any and every type of Lymphoma, stay strong.

KayJohnston,
I had RCHOP chemo and yes I was even hot after treatments stopped. I've been in remission for 4 1/2yrs and my thermostat still is off a bit. Before lymphoma I used to be cold all the time. Now I tend to be on the warmer side. Kelly
