Thank you so much for the prayers and information! Sweets are my downfall and I’ve been comfort eating a lot lately🙁. I also walk alot for exercise and hope I can keep up on that.

LauraMoore,
Hi! Good luck on your upcoming Rituxin treatment on Friday. I hope all goes smoothly for you! I will keep you in my prayers. I am off of steroids now. I was on them for a year. I changed my diet for the better. I used to eat sweets all the time and drink a lot of coffee and Diet Coke. I cut out all of that! I drink water, green tea and chai tea. I don’t eat sweets anymore. I try and eat healthier. I was told to make sure I eat protein for my blood when I was in treatment. After treatment ended I started walking daily too. Rest when you are tired and make sure you stay hydrated too. I’m so glad the snow is melting and the weather is better too! I hope you have a great day! Kelly

It’s great you are feeling well! I haven’t began my treatment yet but scheduled for Rituximab infusions starting this Friday. I pray it works!🙏🏻. I’m sorry about your beautiful hair. I too have always had long hair and feel it’s apart of my identity but so glad there are treatments for this cancer and that you are in remission!
Are you off the steroids now?
Did you follow any certain diet while in treatment?
Thank you and enjoy your day! So glad we are getting a few warm days this week!

LauraMoore,
Hi! I am feeling well. I still get tired late afternoon/early evening. I lost my hair with rchop chemo. I had super thick long blonde hair. It came back about have the thickness and is a bit below my shoulders but won’t grow past that. I got an autoimmune disease after my chemo was over called PMR. I had to be on steroids for 1 yr. I gained 50lbs from that. I’ve lost about half. But other than that I am blessed. I’m alive and so grateful. I walk daily and try and stay hydrated and eat well. The chemo and God saved my life. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. I’m here for you! Kelly
