I am following a weight loss plan almost 100% of the time. And exercise is very hard since I seem to have intense pain, numbness, and muscle spasms (maybe even a tendonitis) in my right calf, right foot, and my hands. I recently bought a cane to assist. Has this happened to anyone else?
LindaMullaney,
Hi and welcome to the site. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I have/had DLBCL and had treatments of rchop chemo. I’ve been in remission for 5 yrs. I was diagnosed with PMR after treatments and had to be on steroids for a year. I gained 50lbs. Still have only lost about 20lbs. But I’m blessed to be alive. I hope you feel better soon. Kelly
Are weight gain and pain/numbness common side effects of rituximab and chemotherapy for follicular lymphoma?
Yes, other MyLymphomaTeam members have experienced similar challenges. Weight gain can occur as a side effect of lymphoma treatment, even when following a weight loss plan carefully.
