Members responded to a question about back and leg pain by sharing their own experiences with similar symptoms, including possible connections to sciatica, lymphoma, and Waldenstrom's effects on the neurological system and bone marrow. Several members offered helpful suggestions like massage for temporary relief, electrolyte drinks, and an unexpected tip of taking Claritin for bone pain, which was recommended at a cancer center and found to be effective. A recurring theme was the importance of letting your oncologist know about pain, leaning on each other for support, and taking things one day at a time.

I am so sorry to hear that Michelle - are you doing ok? I have had pneumonia a few times pre-cancer and it's miserable. I may have already said this, but I just had my 2nd treatment last week. My fever scare mid-May was just a day and things returned to normal after about 24 hours.
