That's a really thoughtful and specific question — and it's completely valid to think carefully about this. The short answer is: yes, there is a real possibility that chemotherapy, including drugs used in R-CHOP, can cause or worsen nerve damage, known as peripheral neuropathy.

Hi Jean, I also had a significant increase in my peripheral neuropathy.after immunotherapy. My neurologist said I had no reflexes in my knees and feet. My feet are numb and burning at the same time. My gait is described as Ataxic and a very wide gait to help
with balance.
Well, I have been suffering from neuralgia since last fall from this mass pressing on and around my nerve root. It has been very painful at times as well as an incredible nuisance. I didn't sleep for weeks and ended up on narcotics for a while. Hopefully, I will experience relief as opposed to further nerve damage. I have no control over that.
