Hi DonnaNesbitt2
I too have started to experience problems with stomach distension and bowels really sensitive cramps and diarohea. I am not on any treatment for mantle cell lymphoma as of yet. I told my Dr about this and he included these details to the haematologist. I’ve read the same resources here on this site. My understanding of these symptoms is to discuss straight away with your Dr. I had a colonoscopy after I first was diagnosed that helped clear up any signs of lymphoma in gastrointestinal tract. I then developed an intolerance to lactose in my diet so being proactive trying to go through diet to relieve these current issues it has helped a lot. I also was extremely stressed about everything so trying t’ai chi to help excercise and mindfulness. I do hope you’re feeling better soon and speak to your doctor. I went to nutritionist as well that helped a lot to get new ideas on my diet. This is a great site it also has dietary suggestions that helped. I really also understand as this has just happened alongside other symptoms since being diagnosed. From many people here it seems to be a common symptom but also went to doctor and asked to be checked and inform the specialist. I calmed down after going through the tests and received some kind of explanation. My stomach is so swollen I am trying 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in water every second third day just to try and clear any backlog of bowels. It seems to help as much as it tastes disgusting I find it helps. I tried all the probiotics under the sun they didn’t help and just went back to old fashioned diet where I make everything myself and had to go on a lactose free diet. I’m trying the Mediterranean diet and some parts of the ketogenic diet some days just fasting helps. I hope you feel better soon 😊
