Thank you
Donna- my doctor checks my blood work every 4 weeks. CBC is the first one. It’s very important they check your white blood cell counts your red blood cells and your platelets. This will help your doctor to know if your levels are low or high and what to do accordingly. Low B12 can cause anemia and anemia is a common symptom of lymphoma. Low levels of WBC indicate a weakened immune system low levels of RBC can cause fatigue weakness and anemia low platelets which cause easily bleeding or bruising. He will determine the cause and do what is necessary to get your levels back to normal. This is a normal standard test used prior to surgery at your yearly exam as well as other routine tests. Lymphoma can be a reason for the low levels treatment is a possibility. Your doctor will determine the reason with your help.
Take care
