I am about to begin treatment for Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma (PTLC), stage 3. The plan is Adcetris (Brentuximab) and CAP. Has anyone has this? I understand that Adcetris is fairly new for first time lymphoma so my oncologist couldn't give me survival rates. I had colon cancer 12 years ago so I have some familiarity with chemo but, of course, every chem is different and I don't know how sick this will make me.

My 21 yo daughter was diagnosed with cHL stage 3/4 in Oct 23. She was prescribed 6 cycles ( day 1 - 50 mg and day 15- 100 mg) of A- AVD protocol. After cycle 2, her PET CT scan showed No evidence of disease
Due to side effects Brentuximab was paused in cycle 4..It has been resumed in cycle 5&6 with a reduced dosage (50 ml each on day 1& day 15). Her chemo sessions were supposed to end on May 10 but the oncologist says that the 2 doses she missed in cycle 4 needs to be given as maintenance… read more
