A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have large B cell lymphoma (NHL). It seems like chemo is the most recommended treatment. However, I am having a very hard time accepting that chemo is the “best.”
Has anyone used alternative treatments, that have been successful, in treating large B cell lymphoma?

Does Anyone Know Of Any Natural Supplement Or Remedy Or Diet That’s Energy Boosting?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

I’ve replaced coffee with Matcha to boost my energy for years now. I live alone so fatigue is a big enemy for me if I don’t have the energy to cook or run errands. I welcome all advice/tips! Thanks.

Is Anyone Working With Integrative Medicine To Help With Traditional Treatment, E.g. Ayurveda Or Immune-support Items
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

My oncologist provides the chemo treatment but not any additional immune-supporting type of modalities to compliment and/or deal with the various side-effects of the R-CHOP plan. I am seeking an integrative MD to help me out with a more holistic approach to getting me through treatment and helping me post-treatment to heal the body

Is There Any Correlation Between Sinus Infections And Having NHFL?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

I know that night sweats, fatigue, and itching can be related but Drs don't seem to know why and don't really offer any treatment or explanation other than if the "B" symptoms get bad enough or the disease seems to be progressing as evidenced by your routine CT and/or bloodwork - then it is typically time to bring on the Chemo or Immuno therapies. My Drs don't even document these things when I report them now. I am on my 2nd serious sinus infection this year. Anybody else?

Do You Have An Autoimmune Disease Or Are You Immunocomprised In A Way That Makes Treatment Not Work As Well For You?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have lupus, an autoimmune disease, so Rituxan or other immunotherapy drugs, or chemotherapy would give me 5 to 30% chance of remission...So I don't think it's worth the horrible side effects...But what alternative therapies could work? My oncologist/hematolgist said doing nothing is the most dangerous option. I hope they find less TOXIC therapies!.. If you can relate to this, please reply to me... I'm trying to keep a good sense of humor and a positive attitude, but now I'm going through a… read more
