My Spouse Was Diagnosed With Stage IV Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma In July 2019.

He refused chemotherapy and refuses to talk about his situation. He does nothing but sit and watch tv. Are there any suggestions about how to be supportive of his choices?

Shortness Of Breath/increased Heart Rate

Shortness Of Breath/increased Heart Rate

I have HL & I’ve had 3 cycles of chemo so far. I’m constantly just out of breath, even if I’m just sitting & my heart rate is always really night. My dr has cut out the bleomycin due to the side effects of possible lung toxicity. She did state that it could take months for breathing to get back to normal after removing the med. I’ve had another pft & echo to make sure everything was ok. The dr said there is a small 4mm nodule on the right ventricle of my heart but everything is functioning and… read more

Does Anyone Else Feel Agitated?

Does Anyone Else Feel Agitated?

I am not actively taking treatments right now but I just found a decent size lump on the inside of my left elbow. I am finding myself very agitated and little to no patience. That is totally opposite of my normal disposition. I am sooooo tired all the time. I don’t know what is normal because of my extremely stressful job or if this is part of the disease. I have follicular lymphoma.

I’ve never gotten angry about it. I’m just agitated. Like, things get on my nerves that probably shouldn’t bother me.

Is Anyone Working With Integrative Medicine To Help With Traditional Treatment, E.g. Ayurveda Or Immune-support Items

Is Anyone Working With Integrative Medicine To Help With Traditional Treatment, E.g. Ayurveda Or Immune-support Items

My oncologist provides the chemo treatment but not any additional immune-supporting type of modalities to compliment and/or deal with the various side-effects of the R-CHOP plan. I am seeking an integrative MD to help me out with a more holistic approach to getting me through treatment and helping me post-treatment to heal the body
