He refused chemotherapy and refuses to talk about his situation. He does nothing but sit and watch tv. Are there any suggestions about how to be supportive of his choices?
I have HL & I’ve had 3 cycles of chemo so far. I’m constantly just out of breath, even if I’m just sitting & my heart rate is always really night. My dr has cut out the bleomycin due to the side effects of possible lung toxicity. She did state that it could take months for breathing to get back to normal after removing the med. I am not actively taking treatments right now but I just found a decent size lump on the inside of my left elbow. I am finding myself very agitated and little to no patience. That is totally opposite of my normal disposition. I am sooooo tired all the time. I don’t know what is normal because of my extremely stressful job or if this is part of the disease. I have follicular lymphoma.
My oncologist provides the chemo treatment but not any additional immune-supporting type of modalities to compliment and/or deal with the various side-effects of the R-CHOP plan. I am seeking an integrative MD to help me out with a more holistic approach to getting me through treatment and helping me post-treatment to heal the body
