Maintenance Program With [[treatment:Rituxan Hycela:5c648bd265df61506ecba9a7]]

Maintenance Program With [[treatment:Rituxan Hycela:5c648bd265df61506ecba9a7]]

I was diagnosed with Follicular Non Hudgkin's Lymphoma last year in November. Had 4 Month Chemo with Bendeka. Now in remission, and was recommended to do a 2 year maintenance treatment with [[treatment:Rituxan Hycela:5c648bd265df61506ecba9a7]]. Anybody else has the same treatment? Is it standard to do it after chemo? What are the long term side effects? I feel fine, but still worry about this
Anybody completed the 2 year? Was any recurrence of the cancer shortly after finishing treatment.โ€ฆ read more

Rituxan As A Follow Up Treatment

May be taking rituxan as a follow up treatment. Just finished up r chops 5 weeks ago. Are there side effects? I am in remission but still have a very small amount of non hodgkins lymphoma left in mid section. Will it get rid of it or does it keep it from growing? What are the chances of it coming back while on this drug?Tks, becky

Looking For Others With Same Diagnosis

Looking For Others With Same Diagnosis

I would like to compare treatments with patience also dealing with double or triple hit diffuse large b-cell lymphoma, Non-Hodgkins. I'm new here and would appreciate having those conversations. Thank you!

Length Of Infusion Time?

Length Of Infusion Time?

Doctor says my day 1 infusion of Treanda will take six hours, then day 2, Rituxan is only 2 hours. How long did/does your infusion take? Six hours sounds really long.

Port

Port

Those of you who have gotten ports, do you regret the decision? I don't want one but my veins are shot. I have to get two years of maintenance Rituxan (every two months) and I dread the needle digging and the veins not holding up. I feel like if I get a port they will just continue to recommend treatment for years. I don't want to be a permanent patient just because I have a port. Sounds silly but it concerns me. Please chime in. thank you
