My friend is recently diagnosed with CLL (as am I although I’m still on Watch and Wait). His dr is recommending treatments for him and he’s trying to decide these two treatment plans. Any advise about them would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Into my first ever treatment! I have had 4-5 Gazyva infusions. Now awaiting start of oral Venclexta. However, my WBC is 1.13 which is quite low. Who has had a similar experience?

Thanks for your support.
Does anyone have any details regarding CLL? My doctor is on a wait and see path. Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks.

He developed swollen legs, vomiting and nausea and fatigue within the first few days. I think it was a reaction to the Revlimid. He has already had a course each of Imbruvica and Venclext/Rituxan.Do we have any other options?
Wow, I am so impressed. I hope you feel well and enjoy everyday at 91! Obviously you're very special.

"Hello Friends. I have early favorable stage 2a HL. They are doing chemo once a month for 4 months. Is this similar to the intervals you have/had? I thought it would be one cycle per month. Thank you and best wishes.."

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Marginal Zone lymphoma. I was told that I have cancer in my bone marrow- about 10-20%- My oncologist put me on the watch and wait as I have no symptoms. Does anyone else have cancer in their bone marrow, and did you receive any treatment (chemo?)

I had treatment with Rituxan and bendamustine followed by Rituxan maintenance. This was well tolerated and gave me five years remission. Now the indolent lymphoma (NMZL) is back. My Dr says I can’t do that treatment again. Just wondering if anyone had more than one set of treatments with bendamustine. If not, what was the treatment after a relapse? I am finding little information about relapsed NMZL. Thanks
I was just diagnosed a week ago and don't meet with my doctor to discuss next steps until after the new year. He mentioned possibly doing "watch and wait" method and I've read a lot that backs that up, which really surprises me. Why would you wait until things got worse to pursue any type of treatment?
For some types of blood cancer there's no evidence that early treatment, when you have no symptoms, improves outcomes. Instead, doctors recommend saving treatment for later, when it will have the best… read more
