Exercise - get on that treadmill everyday. I had 6 rounds of R-Chop, 4 intrathecal methotrexate and 1 high dose methotrexate in the hospital, and except for the 4 day stay in the hospital - I managed to do 3 to 5 miles a day on my treadmill with headphones on playing very loud music. Don't let lymhoma win. I am in remission and hope for you the same.

I keep moving as much as possible and do things that keep me engaged physically and mentally. I occasionally lie down and read or nap in the middle of the day, but most of the time I'm on the move with volunteering and exercise. When I was undergoing chemo/immunotherapy, it was a different story and I was hospitalized twice that year for infections. Even then, I tried to push myself to keep active but did a lot more napping and resting. I'm considered in remission but I know my lymphoma is still there, and I'm trying to stay active while I feel well.

Counter intuitively--exercising as much as I could. Good for the body and soul, and gives you a psychological edge that you didn't let this lymphoma bastard gain the upper hand! The docs told me to exercise as much as I could stand--so I did!!!!!!

Cheers to all!!

For two years, succumbing to fatigue has been my answer and the result has been the atrophy of virtually every muscle in my body. Prior to my disease, my physique was the best in my life, thanks to a regular regime of exercise and gym visits. But now I walk with a cane and need help getting out of a chair. Don't do what I did! Fight back early!

I wish I was a stronger person to make my mind make my body overcome the fatigue
after a couple of infusions in the hospital I began to become fatigued (badly) I had to talk myself into going to the bathroom or getting ready for bed or even to eat and a lot of times I needed help I just gave up it took to much energy( even to think) but I do know one thing IT WILL GET EASIER WITH TIME please be patient and don't push urself into something ur body just isn't gonna do UR BODY WILL TELL U WHEN ITS READY LISTEN TO IT if you don't listen to your body you will just get setbacks.
Good luck my dear God is with you and we are praying for you
