Does Anyone Have Cancer In Their Bone Marrow?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Marginal Zone lymphoma. I was told that I have cancer in my bone marrow- about 10-20%- My oncologist put me on the watch and wait as I have no symptoms. Does anyone else have cancer in their bone marrow, and did you receive any treatment (chemo?)

I’m so much better after Rituximab treatments and consider them life saving. I did not have a lot if side effects but even if I had I would have gladly suffered them in return for the almost immediate relief from fatigue, unsteadiness, and bone pain I was experiencing.

Sorry to hear that Sue6. I have had muscle and joint pain but no other side effects that I’m aware. However I did have bone pain prior to the Rituximab and extreme fatigue, and weakness. Sometimes I would feel dizzy and unstable. Am so much better now.

What kinds of side effect you have after treatment with rituximab? My oncologist claimed there should be no side effects from Rituximab….I am in remission since 2021 after 5 rounds of rituximab but developed auto immune, RA , neuropathy and extremely fatigue since the infusion.
