Members shared a thoughtful mix of perspectives on New Year's resolutions while living with cancer, with many choosing not to make formal resolutions and instead focusing on gratitude for being alive and taking life one day at a time. Several members described meaningful personal goals, including using meditation beads for comfort and focus, finishing final treatments, receiving remission news from doctors, and letting go of worry by trusting in faith and a higher power. A recurring theme was finding joy in small daily victories, celebrating the ability to do simple tasks like cleaning house, and embracing each day as a gift rather than waiting for a specific date to make changes.

Not a big believer in new year's resolutions. If you're going to change anything in your life, then just do. You don't have to wait for the first of the year.

Hi Kim! I never make resolutions either....just making life day by day....today I cleaned house and I'm very thankful I was able to do it. I may pay for it tomorrow but I know it's temporary. I'm 74 and still full of life! Have a great day!❤️

Good Morning Susan! That is a great goal to set.
I myself do not make resolutions.
My goals for 2024 are finishing up my lastc2 treatments than being told I'm in remission. Each day is a gift and I try to get each positive. Some days it's hard but others it's not.
It's okay .
You will be in remission. Do what brings you joy.
