Wondering If After Treatment Anyone Has Traveled And Done Hikes Where You Are At A High Altitude (ex. Peru) Was It Possible? Howd You Feel?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Looking to travel after I complete 4 months of ABVD treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma, with the OK. from the Dr. (I am about halfway through my treatments currently) I'd love to go to Peru when I am finished but very concerned about how the altitude will impact me. It would be about 4 months after treatment. Would love to hear anyones thoughts or how they felt after treatment

I live in Colorado, Im 13 months past chemo in CR mode. I have done the Manitou Incline several x. I had no altitude problems.

I have never been able to handle high altitudes even decades before the lymphoma. Suggest you work up to it slowly.
