My primary Dr referred me to a hematologist due to continued low white blood counts and swollen lymph nodes in my neck. More tests showed I had MGUS and I was monitored for a while then after more lymph nodes and biopsies I was diagnosed
All I had was a slightly enlarged Lymph node on my neck. Had a CT of neck, then chest, then Pet scan, then biopsy. Fillicular NHL.
No symptoms all beside that.
My dx came from a serendipitous finding on a non-contrast CT. I had a viral thing with a lot of photophobia and worst HA of my life. The term "worst headache of my live" is usually a direct ticket for a head CT. I got the head CT and they caught just enough of my neck to see enlarged lymph nodes. I was very lucky, we caught mantle cell lymphoma very early, which is reasonably rare. Usually it has progressed quite a ways before being diagnosed.
I was diagnosed with a routine mammogram. They saw some lymph nodes were a bit more pronounced than the year prior.
Never had any symptoms until radiation burn after my breast cancer.
