Members enthusiastically shared the diverse hobbies that help them cope with cancer, with walking, reading, and spending time with pets emerging as some of the most common activities that provide both physical movement and emotional comfort. Several members described creative outlets including photography, gardening, woodworking, quilting, guitar playing, scriptwriting, and bonsai cultivation, while others found joy in newer pursuits like ukulele lessons at cancer wellness centers, learning Spanish on Duolingo, or taking up needlepoint when chemo made concentration difficult. A recurring theme was gratitude for these activities as essential tools for mental health, with many members crediting their hobbies, faith, and furry companions for helping them stay present, find joy in daily life, and maintain a sense of purpose throughout their cancer journey.

Yes. I have a Kindle, read myself to sleep every night. I get Free kindle books daily from bookbub.com also, I love word spiral bound word search books, adult coloring books, and close up photography. I found getting a dog - a Boston Terrier - has also impacted my emotional life in a very positive way. ☺️

I write movie scripts. Some of them involve cancer patients, and many are holiday-themed. Hopefully, I'll get some produced soon,

My pup keeps me walking. During treatment was covid so I did puzzles, and read books.
