first of all- i started out with non h lymphoma-b cells-im in what you call remission from last july 16-yeah!
I know what you are talking about, sleeping on towels, 3 changes of night gowns a night. Showers in the middle of the night because you feel so gross…but eventually it gets better as your healing continues. Stay tough, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
i had r-chop as well-but still have the drinchin night sweats then got cold- my body temp is all outta wack. normally before i had all this- my normal body temp-i was cold all the time in my life before all this. thku all so very much- almost at my 3 yr mark- i keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. i know it never goes away but damn knowing you could die anytime is way depressing- i just keep on keepin on-
Same with me, not as bad with night sweats but I do get sweaty in the same areas as you do 😁
CathyHenderson,
Hi! I have/had DLBCL and been in remission for 3 1/2years. I had RCHOP chemo. I still had night sweats after treatment. However, they were NOT drenching. That stopped after treatments. But, I still would wake up with sweat behind my knees, groin and chest area. My dermatologist said that our sweat glands are controlled by our nerves. And of course chemo damages nerves. ie: neuropathy etc. Even after all these yrs about once a month or so I wake up with some sweating, dampness. It had receded over time. I hope my answer helps you. Kelly
I am always cold especially during the day 😔
