MaryHanna,
Hi! I had RCHOP chemo and was constipated also. I took OTC Colace. I made sure I drank lots of water too. And I walk daily which I think helps. I also ate things like Raisen Bran cereal. Sending you a hug. Kelly

I had this too then they told me one of my anti sickness meds helped loosen bowels and I’d not been taking it as I didn’t feel too sick . Your hospital team should be able to help and explain which meds do what as side effects . Mine gave me laxido as an extra .

While the search results don't specifically address constipation medications during lymphoma chemotherapy, it's important to stay well hydrated during treatment. Water is the best choice for hydration, and you should avoid sugary drinks like sodas and sweetened teas. If plain water isn't appealing, try adding fresh fruit or opt for low-sugar sports drinks to maintain proper hydration. Before starting any new medications or treatments for constipation, always consult with your healthcare team first. They can recommend safe options that won't interfere with your lymphoma treatments and can help determine if any adjustments to your current treatment plan are needed.
