Members shared their experiences with bendamustine and rituximab for treating stage 4 follicular lymphoma, with one member celebrating complete remission after six months of treatment combined with Gazyva and another currently midway through the same regimen. Several members offered practical guidance for those just starting treatment, including expecting extensive PET scan results that can help explain long-standing symptoms, preparing for possible infusion reactions during immunotherapy that medical teams can quickly adjust, and not hesitating to lean on loved ones for support during the challenging days. A recurring theme was maintaining a positive mindset, asking for help when needed, and trusting that the treatment process, while sometimes unpredictable, is manageable with the right medical team and community encouragement.

I had Bendamustine and the immunotherapy Gazyva for 6 months (July 2024-December 2024) and with stage 4 follicular lymphoma, it brought me to remission. I am continuing with Gazyva every 8 weeks for 2 years. I feel better than I have in YEARS! I believe I’d had the “beast” in me for a long time, and now I feel GREAT!

When you get your pet scan don’t be too alarmed. Mine lit up like a Christmas tree… and it’s the best body scan you can do. All those aches and pains I had over the years I was able
To connect the dots. I had a lot of back pain and always thought it was from a snowboarding accident but it seems the lymphoma was the culprit. I guess I had symptoms and went thru the watch and wait period unknowingly.
Take it easy, some days are good some less than.

Hi Elizabeth, I’m sending prayers your way. It can be a scary time, so try to keep a positive attitude about your treatment and life in general. Let friends and family help and support you when you need it. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Those that love you want to, but don’t always know what you need.
You’ve got this! 💗💝💖

I put mine n remission with red light therapy, turmeric liquid, brushing & flushing lymph system. Am currently incorporating natural herbs such as dandelion tea. There's a bunch of natural flushes. Look as if your flushing parasites. Lemon water to balance ph. I sweated last week, first time in 6 years. Oregano oil, black seed oil, black pepper, cayenne pepper etc wormwood tea, essaics tea.
