Follicular lymphoma (FL) has a relatively favorable prognosis compared to other lymphoma types. The five-year relative survival rate for FL across all stages is 89.9%, meaning about 90 out of 100 people diagnosed with FL will live at least 5 years after diagnosis. It's important to note that survival rates are improving over time as new treatments become available. Current survival statistics are based on people diagnosed at least 5 years ago, so outcomes for people being diagnosed today may be even better due to advances in treatment options.
