Hi from Toronto! I had dlbcl too and while it started with finding a tumour in the lining of my brain which was surgically removed I also had a tumour in the hip-pelvic area that was treated with chemo and radiation. I had been telling my family dr I had hip pain so severe I couldn't sleep on my right side and she was telling me to run a ball up and down my right side. The tumour left lesions in the bone there. Have they done scans of the areas causing you pain?
Hi Rhonda, I am 5 months into remission from Stage 4 DLBCL. One femur's marrow was shot and outside of the bone had a large lesion (kidneys & some nodes too). While not severe, leg pain persists at the site of lesion and shooting nerve pain. The actual pain is not so bad, but nonetheless unnerving. I wonder if the worry of recurrence ever subsides. I feel your pain: literally and figuratively. Best, Zannie
It's not uncommon for lymphoma patients to experience bone pain even after entering remission. Many MyLymphomaTeam members have reported similar experiences, with some noting that bone pain can persist for several years after treatment. Some members experience intermittent pain that "comes and goes" even four years into Show Full Answer
