We all want a cure for cancer, that's a given. But if you could have anything NOT cancer related what would it be? Maybe the toy you wanted so badly that you didn't get for Christmas when you were little? What? Give it some thought 🤔

My Christmas Wish is for shelter animals to have warm blankets for the winter . Most of all I wish more people would consider adopting a shelter dog or cat and giving it a loving forever home!

What do you want most for Christmas this year (besides a cure)?

This is such a wonderful question to reflect on! Living with lymphoma can make it challenging to feel grateful or think beyond health concerns, but focusing on non-cancer wishes can be refreshing and uplifting.

Practicing gratitude and thinking about what brings you joy can actually help shift your perspective during difficult times. Some people find it helpful to:

* Think about meaningful connections with loved ones
* Reflect on simple pleasures they've been missing
* Consider things that would bring comfort or joy to their daily life
* Remember special moments or experiences they'd like to recreate

The holidays can be tough when dealing with lymphoma, but focusing on what truly matters to you—whether it's time with family, a cherished memory, or even that childhood toy you never got—can help make the season more meaningful.

What would be at the top of your list this year?

I agree. At my house there's no such thing as a stray. When they show up here they're home 🏡😁
