I try to pray mornings and nights and it helps me cope with my cancer
Just a tidbit I was made aware of Saint Peregrine as the patron saint of all cancers. He was cured thru his devotion to God and prayer . I have a card with a prayer I say to him numerous times a day to hopefully find a cure for this horrible disease that affects all of us on this site .
Faith has helped me a lot in past sotuations , being new to diagnosis certainly hasn’t stopped being in faith. I try 10mins everyday to be quiet and say thank you for everything I have right now in the moment. I think spirituality is part of keeping well-being if that is part of your individuality.
Okay, I am the oddball, but I do Tai Chi in the mornings. Breathing & moving & a feeling of love and connection to the present and all beings.
The only way for me is prayer & faith in God! He is the great physician and is in control! It’s so important as someone mentioned, avoid negative people and don’t read on this site too much😃everyone is different. God has a specific plan for each! I hear so many people in remission and cured for years! God is able, nothing is impossible for our creator.
It is normal to be anxious at times, as I’m in watch and wait myself after pet scan found inflamed lymph node in unsafe place to be biopsied. (All bloodwork normal, no B symptoms, no floating cancer cells, feel great!) But w/lymphoma any suspicious findings makes us anxious. Prayer and time w/God gives me peace of mind I'm in his hands.
I trust in the Father , He's got his ! I do pray, read and try to encourage others. l could do better in all that if I'm honest. But my faith in the true God is solid.
