Hi. Thank you for answering. I guess the hardest part is the wait. I really feel well so I hope that counts for something. My doctors are very confident this second round will work and they too advised of other options. It could be so much worse so I am thankful. Again. Thank you.

Hi JHart, I was just diagnosed with stage 4 SMZL. Fortunately, my bloodwork and spleen look good so far, so I am not having treatment.
Hoping for a better result for you with the second round. My doctor told me that there are many treatment options in case Rituximab doesn't work.

JHart,
Hi and welcome to the site. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I have/had DLBCL and had treatments of rchop chemo. I’ve been in remission for 5 years. I hope you have a peaceful day. Kelly

Hi, thank you for responding. I just finished 8 infusions of Rituximab this week and will have a CTScan the end of April. My spleen is 25 cm and did not shrink at all after the first 4 infusions. I’m really hoping there is a better result after the last 4. I feel really good, never had any symptoms and was in watchful waiting for close to a year until my platelets started to drop. Did you go through any maintenance?

I have SMZL which has been treated with 8 infusions of Rituximab ending in 2025. So far still in remission !!
