Pet scans can be falsely positive.I would suggest next generation sequencing .This will tell you whether there is tumor dna.Even with negative imaging and flow cytometry.My wife was in remission 2 years got eye surgery for floaters , found lymphoma cells in eye fluid, .Feels great all testing negative except next generation Genetic sequencing.Getting Cart T in a few weeks.Most likely your node is inflammatory

Bill.. thank you for sharing your experience. I’m in remission for DBCL over two years now until this sneaky little lymph node has tried to scare me. I’m believing it was just inflamed and a clear PET scan on September 15. Should it be in Gods plan for more treatment I’m hoping only Rituxan or mild treatment be needed! Two years ago during a very scary time during my chemo treatment I knelt and prayed..one of many nights…I heard God speak to my heart ,stay faithful. Here I am this morning walking 4 miles and feel great. I know he heals. Pray that for you! I saw where you play golf. My husband is a big golfer. He’s 77 and plays three times a week. Such good therapy for you. Keep it up. stay in faith, my friend.

Frank…thank you so much for your reply. Waiting on another pet scan Sept 15. The radiologist said the only single lymph node ,a newly left periaortic lymph node that is concerning for possible DBCL relapse. (A biopsy is unsafe.)
It increased from prior pet scan a few weeks before from 1.2x.08 to 1.8x1.9 cm in similar fashion.
I have no b symptoms at all. Strangely my past oncologist had told me inflammation somewhere causing iron overload but Rhumotologist didn’t find anything. Such a mystery…As for today .I remain calm and strong in faith this lymph node will be clear.
I will mention the next generation sequence…
