Thank you, Frank. I'm scheduled for harvesting this week. It's good to have another resource with experience with the therapy. My prayers and positive vibes are sent for your wife and her success!! I recently discovered the Calm app that has helped me start my day and end it with mindfulness and meditation. Maybe your wife could also benefit from it. I know I've been grasping for new resources since my relapse. New pathways for dealing with returning cancer are my focus at the moment. Best of luck this go round!

It's great that you're reaching out to connect with others who've been through CAR T-cell therapy for DLBCL โ€” many members of this community have walked that path and can offer real insight.

CAR T-cell therapy is a type of immunotherapy used for DLBCL, particularly when other treatments haven't worked or the cancer has come back. Here's a quick overview of how it works:

- Your T cells (immune cells) are collected from your blood
- They're sent to a lab and engineered to recognize and attack lymphoma cells
- The modified cells are then infused back into your body to fight the cancer There are three FDA-approved CAR T-cell therapies for DLBCL:

- Axicabtagene ciloleucel (Yescarta)
- Lisocabtagene maraleucel (Breyanzi)
- Tisagenlecleucel (Kymriah)

These have shown consistent results in clinical trials, even for high-risk DLBCL cases. Your oncologist can help determine which option may be right for your specific situation.

Posting your question on your MyLymphomaTeam Activities page is a wonderful way to hear personal stories from members who've been through CAR T-cell therapy firsthand! ๐Ÿ’™
