Has anyone had a raised area that is itchy that was biopsy and found to be cancer?

I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in 2009. I had treatment and maintenance til 2013. In 2021 a suspected cyst on my nose turned out to be cancer. I had surgery and radiation. In 2023, what I thought was eczema appeared on my upper right arm. My dermatologist decided to biopsy and it was cancer. My oncologist has never seen anything like this. At time it is itchy. - Patches — flat, smooth, or scaly
- Plaques — harder, thicker, and scaly
- Tumors — raised bumps or nodules

These can sometimes be mistaken for eczema, even by doctors. One member reported being misdiagnosed by nine different doctors before getting answers. Since your oncologist is considering both Rituxan and radiation, it's worth asking for a second opinion on the pathology, especially given the possible shift from follicular to MALT lymphoma.
