So sorry Terri. I truly believe we lose good people too soon in life.

I am so very sorry that you lost your son. You are courageous to post here after that awful ordeal. My heart goes out to you. Sending hugs.

My son had CAR-T in October of 2021. He was in the hospital for about 4 weeks. They couldn't get his blood counts back up and he had other complications. They found more lymphoma throughout his organs. It took everything out
of him. He came home the Friday before Thanksgiving in 2021 and we had hospice in that week. He passed on 11/28/21. He fought with everything he had but it was not meant to be for whatever reason. He was so hopeful that this would be the treatment that worked. He was just 41. He would want me to encourage others to seek any type of treatment that is available and to never give up. I hope you have a long remission.

Just seeing your post now. Did your son have CAR-T? How is he? I had CAR-T in April and am so glad I did. I am in remission and my doctor says that those who go into remission after CAR-T tend to stay in remission. Please let us know how your son id doing?

I had Car-t treatment in August , 2022. No side effects and now back at home. I have non Hodgkins Lymphoma and my Doctor said my tumors shrank considerably. Will have a Pet Scan in November
