I started with bouts of itching (sometimes with rash/bumps, sometimes not) over a past year or so. My out-of-whack labs and obstruction showed up as jaundice and extreme itching and other ways until IV fluids and eventual sx removed the problem. However, I still get less severe bouts of itching - my scalp, and specific places - the outside of my inner elbow, my palms and fingers, the backside of my knees and my chest/abdomen are the most common. Hi ~ Lymphoma pt for 10 yrs. Currently in remission. ☺️ I had itching that over time grew into the most severe itching I had ever endured! Mostly my legs were affected. Water, trying to shower/take a bath would bring me to tears just knowing how it would itch to the point of burning leaving me to cry until it subsided, to a tolerable level. Once I started the Visteril my life changed back to -lymphoma! no more itching! Showering/tub baths were again enjoyable and a stress reliever. Highly recommend talking to your Doc about this med.

I just happened to think ..
Have you tried liquid Benadryl? I had an allergy that caused severe itching and Benadryl worked for me.
