Night sweats in NHL lymphoma can be extremely severe and drenching. Many people experience such intense sweating that they need to change their clothes and bedding multiple times throughout the night. The sweating can be so extreme that it wakes people from sleep, often leaving them shivering for 30-40 minutes afterward.

These night sweats are considered one of the "B symptoms" of lymphoma and can be much more intense than normal sweating. They're often described as "drenching" or "profuse" - meaning clothes and bedding become completely soaked through. The good news is that night sweats are typically one of the first symptoms to respond to treatment. To help manage them in the meantime, try:
- Wearing breathable natural fabrics like cotton
- Keeping your bedroom cool
- Sleeping with a towel underneath you
- Staying hydrated
- Having extra changes of clothes and bedding readily available
