I have Malt lymphoma.Mine is Marginal zone B cell Lymphoma. On diagnosis it had spread all over my body . . Stage 4. I was treated with immunotherapy targeting cancer cells with a certain protein attached.. My experience after treatment is the worst part. I have some really difficult side effects that make my quality of life less than ideal. I have really bad peripheral neuropathy to the point I have 0 reflexes in my feet and knees. I have been . treated for severely low iron with iron infusion. I am anemic. I have mobility issues due to the fatigue being to the point I was not able to exercise to keep up my strength I am in remission. No cancer cells found but infiltrates in my lungs post treatment that are being looked at by a Pulmonologist. I couldn’t ring the bell after my treatment was done. I knew I was not going to ever be cured. Relapse ,more side effects!
