I have been noticing on both arms a little red spot almost like blood blister any ideas?

Donna I agree with what Scottie is saying and I have actually had a couple of those red spots on my arm with you sharing the photo is how I knew exactly what you were talking about so great job and great advice from Scottie. Thanks to you both. Wish I had more information about this and more advice but I have nothing except the knowledge of having them and nobody is concerned and to be honest I don’t remember if they were even able to give me any solid answers but I know if they did I would remember that lol so I have not been very concerned about that for now. You and I both have a lot of big issues and we can focus on getting this resolved and answers from our doctors

One appeared my right arm last week bit it disappeared now noticed one on my left arm this morning. I showed it to the nurse practitioner and really did think anything of it.

Those small red or purple spots you're noticing on both arms could be related to your lymphoma. They might be petechiae or purpura — tiny spots caused by low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia), which can be associated with lymphoma.

Those small red or purple spots you're noticing on both arms could be related to your lymphoma. They might be petechiae or purpura — tiny spots caused by low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia), which can be associated with lymphoma.

On lighter skin, these spots tend to look red or purple. On darker skin, they may appear as dark splotches. They can also sometimes show up under fingernails, making them look dark or black. Bruising and unusual spots can also be linked to certain lymphoma treatments, particularly:

- Blood thinners or aspirin – these reduce the blood's ability to clot
- Low platelet counts – fewer platelets means a higher bleeding risk
- Steroid medications (like prednisone) – these can cause the skin on the arms and hands to lose padding, making it easier to bruise from even minor contact

It's really important to show these spots to your care team as soon as possible — even sending them a photo works. What looks like a simple bruise or blister isn't always straightforward, and your doctor will want to take a look to make sure everything is okay. Don't wait on this one! 🩺
