Those little red or purple spots on your arms and legs could be something called petechiae or purpura. These are small patches caused by low platelet levels (thrombocytopenia), which can be a symptom of lymphoma.

On lighter skin, they tend to look red or purple. On darker skin, they may appear as darker splotches. Low platelets affect how well your blood clots, so along with these spots, you might also notice:

- Easier or excessive bruising
- Bleeding gums when brushing teeth
- Nosebleeds
- Dark spots under fingernails

It's really important to let your lymphoma care team know about these spots as soon as possible, especially if they're spreading or getting worse. They can check your platelet levels and advise on next steps. Don't ignore this one — it's worth a prompt call to your doctor!

Hi Donna, the red bums could be a reaction to medicine . Yo I will have to see a doctor for it. In the mean time try a salt water shower. I found this to help a lot of things. 1/2cup to 1/2 gallon of water. Christine
