We'll all give thanks, thats a given. But what else will you do? A Thanksgiving feast, a day of mediation, what? I'll be spending it with friends. Share here, and give someone else an inspirational idea.

Two years ago I was in the hospital beginning my chemo. The family gathered at my daughter’s house and my husband brought a plate of all the family favs. Even tho I could only manage a few bites of each special food, my heart was happy I could enjoy from a distance and be thankful for another year of life and family.
Now my daughter hosts and everyone contributes. I do the pecan and pumpkin pies and enjoy the family. Gid has been good!

Grateful for another holiday to enjoy family and all blessings. Will not focus on health etc, will spend day focusing on loved ones and being thankful. 🙌

Probably visit relatives in Bay St. Louis, MS They live on the water it’s really nice and since the Gulf Coast doesn’t really have winter, we can take out the boat, have a yummy dinner, complete with oyster dressing, have a happy Thanksgiving 🦃

What a wonderful question! Spending Thanksgiving with friends sounds like a perfect plan. Here are some ideas that other people with lymphoma have found meaningful and manageable for the holidays:

Keep it low-key but meaningful
- Let someone else host, or ask guests to bring potluck dishes so you're not overdoing it

What a wonderful question! Spending Thanksgiving with friends sounds like a perfect plan. Here are some ideas that other people with lymphoma have found meaningful and manageable for the holidays:

Keep it low-key but meaningful:
- Let someone else host, or ask guests to bring potluck dishes so you're not overdoing it
- Use paper plates and disposable tablecloths for easy cleanup (no judgment here! 🍂)
- Set up a video call with loved ones who can't be there in person

Make it memorable:
- Sort through old photos and reminisce together
- Watch a favorite movie or documentary as a group
- Play board games or work on a puzzle together

Add a gratitude ritual:
- Go around the table and share something you're truly thankful for
- Write short gratitude notes to people who've supported you through your lymphoma journey
- Start a gratitude journal that day and keep it going One MyLymphomaTeam member shared this simple but heartfelt sentiment during the holidays: *"Keeping busy prepping for winter... wishing everyone the very best always."*

Sometimes the smallest moments of connection are the most meaningful. Enjoy every bite of that feast! 🦃
