My wbc has been 55.2 & 53.8. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma & CLL in 2018 stage 4. My CLL is active again. My Cancer Dr says let's give it 3 more months & reck wbc again and then discuss treatments. Is this normal to do?
Makes me agitated & nervous and worried.
🤥 sounds awful to have to wait 3 months before rechecking the wbc and RBC. My Dr does full panel labs every other week and then adjusts the other medication as needed for the kidneys and general… read more
I also get a slight skin rash on my neck and chest from time to time. It comes and goes. I didn't have either of these issues prior to treatment. Any thoughts?
Omgosh, I also get those creepy crawly feelings, usually my legs, sometimes my arms
Once in awhile it's so bad, I'll want to take something for the discomfort. It's so had to describe. I'm 28… read more

After the news that you are in remission, did you go back to the normal things in life? Traveling, flying, cruises and etc? We are still wondering if we should be cautious?
Yes, and 80 going strong . Good luck
I had a rash that itch like crazy my oncologist gave me a medication by mouth 🙃 and the bumps vanish as well as the itching and rash
I have read some history posts here and on the internet about how having CA (including Lymphoma) increases the likelihood of getting other CAs. This is with or without getting chemo- or immuno- therapy txs. I know that after my dx, my mammogram came back abnormal with areas that needed to be biopsied and watched. There are more of those areas every 6-month check. My skin CA occurrences which started about 6 years prior to dx have ramped up this last year - with 4 new spots that needed to… read more
I have been thinking about this issue. I finished R-CHOP for follicular lymphoma in January 2023. Since then I have had squamous cell carcinoma on my scalp and am currently scheduling a biopsy for… read more
I was just diagnosed a week ago and don't meet with my doctor to discuss next steps until after the new year. He mentioned possibly doing "watch and wait" method and I've read a lot that backs that up, which really surprises me. Why would you wait until things got worse to pursue any type of treatment?
For some types of blood cancer there's no evidence that early treatment, when you have no symptoms, improves outcomes. Instead, doctors recommend saving treatment for later, when it will have the best… read more
Maybe depends on the type or we just unlucky to breath something in the air.
I was diagnosed with CLL/SLL 9/2022 after finding swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Now they are in several parts of my body, and I have a slightly elevated WBC, but have no other "significant" symptoms. I'm on watchful waiting protocol. Has anyone else dealt with increasing lymph node swelling over a fairly short time and received no treatment? Also, could swollen nodes in the throat area affect swallowing? Seems like I have a harder time swallowing my vitamins.
Like many others on… read more
My swollen lymph nodes was in my right underarm. I was given 13 weeks of radiation, now in remission for 2 years.
