MCL And Liver Related Question.
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

Recently has a CT scan for my MCL. I have been on a trial program for 1 1/2 years which is working well so far. The CT scan said scattered hypodensities on the liver. Dr. says it's nothing, but it's been bothering me. Anyone else have this?

What Do You Know About Lymphoma And How It Relates To Other CAs?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have read some history posts here and on the internet about how having CA (including Lymphoma) increases the likelihood of getting other CAs. How Do You Deal With Being Sick
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

I've never been a sick person . I just had a great immune system and didn't catch all the viruses that went around. Now I'm sitting here about to be discharged from the hospital for the second time after being admitted for neutropenia and fever. I'm weak. I must look awful because the doctors are asking if I need any equipment or services I was still trying to work full time but my job got nasty about me missing time and it's either disability or get fired. I just don't know how to be a sick… read more

Am I Alone In Thinking That A Doctor Should Be Straight Up And Honest And Not Sugar Coat, Down Play Or Make False Promises?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

Before I started the radiation therapy, the specialist said: “this/I will cure you”(coincidently his last name in French and English is HERO)! I thought: “nice of him to think so. I think this guy takes his last name a little too seriously.” Was I being too cynical? Yes, because I prefer to face reality with facts in order to be able to make relevant decisions and plans. Fact is, in my case at least, radiation would help “clear” the area to be treated temporarily. Radiation, as far as I know, is… read more
