Recently has a CT scan for my MCL. I have been on a trial program for 1 1/2 years which is working well so far. The CT scan said scattered hypodensities on the liver. Dr. says it's nothing, but it's been bothering me. Anyone else have this?

I have read some history posts here and on the internet about how having CA (including Lymphoma) increases the likelihood of getting other CAs. This is with or without getting chemo- or immuno- therapy txs. I know that after my dx, my mammogram came back abnormal with areas that needed to be biopsied and watched. I've never been a sick person . I just had a great immune system and didn't catch all the viruses that went around. Now I'm sitting here about to be discharged from the hospital for the second time after being admitted for neutropenia and fever. I'm weak. I'm 53 and was diagnosed last year with stage 4

Before I started the radiation therapy, the specialist said: “this/I will cure you”(coincidently his last name in French and English is HERO)! I thought: “nice of him to think so. I think this guy takes his last name a little too seriously.” Was I being too cynical? Yes, because I prefer to face reality with facts in order to be able to make relevant decisions and plans. I'm getting ready to start 4-6 cycles of R-CHOP for DLBCL after we finished all the scans and tests this week. Of all the medical possibilities, chemo is the one I have feared the most over my lifetime, and here we gooo!
