Does Anyone Have Cancer In Their Bone Marrow?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Marginal Zone lymphoma. I was told that I have cancer in my bone marrow- about 10-20%- My oncologist put me on the watch and wait as I have no symptoms. Does anyone else have cancer in their bone marrow, and did you receive any treatment (chemo?)

My older brother is on β€œwait and see” and immunotherapy. My first cousin has MLL, had had two bone marrow transplants, and now not making any new RBC’s. He’s very sick and has been hospitalized for weeks. My nephew is just beginning chemotherapy (not sure which treatment plan, except it will be infusions, beginning with a 6 month treatment plan. He’s at the cancer center in Washington State close to Seattle. He has a history of mental illness, and substance abuse/addiction as well. He was in the… read more

Bone Marrow Biopsy To Rule Out Cancer In The Bone Marrow. Results Are Back, But Doctor Hasn't Viewed It Yet.
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

My axillary lymph node is stage 1 follicular lymphoma. My bone marrow biopsy showed only a couple positive markers. But I'm not sure if that means my bone marrow has cancer in it too. Or Will the bone marrow show positive anyway because I have it in my lymph nodes. Kind of confusing to me right now. Not sure what I want it to look like.

I believe NHL usually starts in the lymph nodes and can spread to the bones & bone marrow; whereas primary bone cancer starts in the bones. Rarely, I *THINK* NHL can originate in the bones though, and… read more

Have Any Of You Had Lymphoma In Your Supraclavicular Nodes (just Above Your Collarbone)?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I hope it's OK to post here even though I haven't been diagnosed with lymphoma, but my doctor says it is a possibility. I have an enlarged (about 3cm) supraclavicular node that is hard and two more hard nodes (about 2cm each) above it in my neck. I am sweating profusely, but mostly during the day and I'm tired most of the time. I have an ultrasound and CT scan scheduled later this week. Thanks in advance.

Bone Biopsy
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I am 3 years in remission for follicular lymphoma. My red blood cells have been getting smaller in my last couple blood tests. My Oncologist sent me to have a colonoscopy and a endoscopy to rule out gi cancer. Results were good. My Gastroenterologist wondered why he hadn’t done a bone biopsy, now I’m worried as this has been the one thing I didn’t want to do. I thought I should ask people with actual experience. Thank you
