Been in remission since May and have been having stomach pain that was believed to be a hernia until ultrasound showed there wasn’t one. Now have to go back for another PET scan because of a swollen liver and spleen. I’m having severe anxiety over the whole situation. I don’t want to do this again.
Mark as a patient in remission you will find yourself with wondering if every pain is cancer reoccurring. If anxiety helped I would say go for it. You can choose to worry or choose to move on with… read more
When I shaved my head during chemo I had a friend draw a smiley face on the top of my head. I used to tip my hat and bow when I met someone. 😁
I worry about the side effects so I would not consider Chemo. I have had this neck tumor for almost 2 years and afraid to treat it.
Did you not eat even natural sugars like fruits such as bananas. Etc.
I’m on wait and watch for over a year. Over been through all the testing. I’m stage 4 because it’s 30 percent in my marrow. My dr says all number are ok and have not gotten worse. My fatigue has gotten really bad, not sleeping at night much and sleeping off and on all day. I’m at a loss how to make it better. I excerise some when it can, eat well but fatigue has taken over my life. I would appreciate any help. Good luck to all
Hi Kathy, sadly fatigue is a chronic symptom/side effect which may or may not get better with time. Do not take energy boosters or sleeping aids without consulting your doctor first. However, To avoid… read more
Should the use of Bluetooth headsets be discontinued after R -chop treatment? Or can it be used during office calls?

I have had swollen lymphnodes in my groin for about 15 months, my right armpit for about 4 months, and in my neck which the hema-oncologist discovered about almost 6 weeks ago. Night sweats have been occurring for about 15 months now, however they used to happen randomly here and there (few times a month) they are now every time I fall asleep. I now wake up 2-3 times a night to change because I am drenched and end up shivering for 30-40 min afterwards. I have had terrible joint/body pain for the… read more
My SLL/CLL was discovered through a mammogram which showed my armpit lymph nodes were swollen. Then I was sent for a biopsy which diagnosed the SLL/CLL.
I had a spinal tap in December because I had brain surgery for a tumour in October but nothing showed up. So hopefully they will continue monitoring it. Nothing fun about a spinal tap.
Any thoughts on whether those of us with lymphoma should get the shingles vaccine? My oncologist today told me I should get it. I've been pretty die-hard about not introducing toxins into my body....and I'm thinking that is another one. But he said getting shingles would really be hard on my body with the lymphoma.

Thanks I’m going to ask my oncologist when I go in next week.
Boy that is a lot to deal with I hope you have a better outcome in the days to come. I am not even close to that amount of work without success with the rash or itch.
