June 2019 i was diagnosed with primary cns lymphoma.
This year in march i had an ovary removed. They found diffuse large b cell lymphoma. My oncologist wants to put me on the r-CHOP regimen with stem cell transplant to follow as maintainance therapy.

I have read that this condition is rare but I have a biopsy for breast cancer coming up and I also have non hodgkin lymphoma. I am wondering if you can have both at the same time!

I am reading here that a lot of people have been receiving treatment with a lesser stage (I & 2) than I have. (I have Stage 3 *follicular* non-hodgkins lymphoma). I have been on watch and wait since my diagnosis in April 2019. I'm wondering why the oncologist is holding off on any treatment. Why wait until it gets bad? Has anyone gotten treatment while being asymptomatic? If you do have symptoms, at what point did your Dr decide to start treatment?

I don't really understand why they don't try to treat when it is widespread. I haven't really found any reasoning for no treatment. It has been over a year since I was diagnosed. I do have other health issues and they just seem to be getting worse, I have COPD, conanary artery disease, I had a stent put in a few months ago and now I have to get a second mammogram and a scan because of the recent density of tissue. I was diagnosed with Follicular Non Hudgkin's Lymphoma last year in November. Had 4 Month Chemo with Bendeka. Now in remission, and was recommended to do a 2 year maintenance treatment with [[treatment:Rituxan Hycela:5c648bd265df61506ecba9a7]]. Anybody else has the same treatment? Is it standard to do it after chemo? What are the long term side effects? I feel fine, but still worry about this
