My check up yesterday, I knew would be with assistant, I met 1 time prior and tried not to make judgment. Yesterday I asked pointed questions! I couldn't get an answer!!!! Agh! I was just diagnosed a week ago and don't meet with my doctor to discuss next steps until after the new year. He mentioned possibly doing "watch and wait" method and I've read a lot that backs that up, which really surprises me. Why would you wait until things got worse to pursue any type of treatment?

Chemo is directly related to new cancers in our bodies. My doctor also told me indolent lymphomas often lead to other cancers.

I have read that this condition is rare but I have a biopsy for breast cancer coming up and I also have non hodgkin lymphoma. I am wondering if you can have both at the same time!

June 2019 i was diagnosed with primary cns lymphoma.
This year in march i had an ovary removed. They found diffuse large b cell lymphoma. My oncologist wants to put me on the r-CHOP regimen with stem cell transplant to follow as maintainance therapy.
Maybe depends on the type or we just unlucky to breath something in the air.
I am in remission now. Live on Vancouver Island in BC
I think this should be investigated further.
